I recently purchased a Lunt CaK module and a Daystar Quark Chromosphere eyepiece to view the Sun in Ha and Calcium. For a couple of weeks now, I have gone out and imaged the Disk of the Sun, hoping to catch some Prominence's, Plage and Filaments on the surface. I have been fortunate enough to capture some images and I will post them here on a daily basis as long as the weather cooperates. I also included Sun pictures in White light, so I can get a broad spectrum of images from three different layers in the Sun's atmosphere.
Here are some images acquired recently using my AT60ED APO refractor and AT80ED APO refractor and new ASI183MM camera.
Here are some new images, taken on Sunday December 27, 2020. I attached my AT80ED to my Celestron SE mount, using my ASI290MM camera and used my Lunt CaK module, Quark Chromosphere eyepiece and a plain old White Light Solar Filter along with a Green N58 and UV/IR filters. Pics were processed in Autostakkert!2, with wavelets and sharpening in Registax 6 and ImPPG, Dodge and Burn in CS2, Color by GIMP and cropped in MS Paint.
